Chupryna Vitaliy Grygorovych

One of the founders of the Subsidiary Enterprise «Engineering & Technical Center «Atomenergotrening».

Vitaliy Chupryna was born in 1958 in Alexandria, Ukraine.

In 1980, he graduated from Odessa National Polytechnic University with a degree in Thermal and Nuclear Power Engineering and began his career as a Senior Reactor Control Engineer at the Chernobyl NPP. He was liquidator of the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster in 1986-1989 - he was one of those who during the first hours and days implement site-wide measures to limit and localize Reactor No.4 accident.

In 1995-2002, he studied training engineering, enterprise management and human resource management in leading companies in France, Germany, Belgium and Spain. Mr. Chupryna's managerial experience includes the management of the State Enterprise «Engineering and Technical Center for Nuclear Energy Personnel Training» (ETC director in 1995-2005).

Mr. Chupryna headed the Subsidiary Enterprise «Engineering & Technical Center «Atomenergotrening» in 2005.

From the first days in this role, he implements and manages initiatives aimed at developing new approaches to activities, development of expertise and unique competences of the company's staff.

He was awarded the medal «For Merit» (1989), the badges «Honorary Worker of Atomic Energy» (2004) and «Excellence in Energy of Ukraine» (2008).
