    Subsidiary enterprise «Engineering & Technical Center «Atomenergotrening» is a Ukrainian diversified engineering company with a collective form of ownership, which since its foundation in 1990 has been providing services in the field of peaceful uses of nuclear energy.

In the early years, the company was mainly involved in activities and tasks for the nuclear energy in Ukraine. This period allowed the company to gather a variety of knowledge, technologies and methods, accumulate unique experience and form management and engineering core. The creation in 1997-2007 of the National Personnel Training System for Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plants is one of the significant stages in the company's history. In cooperation with NNEGC Energoatom, nuclear power plants, the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine, NTUU «KPI», within the international consortia, the company has successfully completed a large number of projects. As a result, now Ukraine has an effective training system for NPP personnel - a system that meets modern international requirements.

    In 2008-2012, the company ensured the operability and functioning of Radiation Monitoring Systems located at the Ukrainian borders to control nuclear and other radiological materials and detect their illicit or improper border crossing. The company provided services for 160 Portal Radiation Monitors at 25 border crossings and customs checkpoints at airports, seaports, automobile and pedestrian control points throughout Ukraine.

    In the last decade, the company has modified and expanded both the range of services and geography of works, as well as the circle of clients in the field of peaceful uses of nuclear energy. Today the company provides special-purpose and comprehensive solutions for the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of engineering & technical components of physical protection systems. Under international program, which Ukraine has joined, the company is the unified supplier that equips and modernizes physical protection systems for civilian facilities using or storing radiological materials - medical institutions, production facilities and specialized enterprises of the radioactive waste storage and disposal. By the beginning of 2020, the company put into service and now maintains engineering & technical means of physical security and protection at 37 facilities throughout Ukraine. On-line information of «right at the moment» type from these facilities is transmitted to Kyiv and displayed at the Central Monitoring Station, which was developed and created by the company for the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine.
